Dear sir/madam,
Iḿ happy owner of SQlab 611 ti-rail. I have tried many models of Selle SMP en Selle Italia. before I find SQlab611 14cm.
Unfortunately after 2 years /20,000km the saddle shows heavily sports of cover de-lamination. It is everywhere. First stared by the nose then went on top - near the sit bone area. I can send you a pictures if you want. I use this saddle only with race shirts. I have never seen such fast wear before. It seem that this is not production failure – many people report such problem.
What do you suggest to do in my case?
So far I have figured out the following options.
1. Ask for replacement – I have bought it from shop where I have excellent experience with the customer service - Rose Versand. They will give me replacement and over two years I will have the same problem.
2. Contact you and ask for suggestion
3.Search another brand alternative. I don't want to begin the search procedure again. I know that SQ lab611 fits me best.
4.Try to repair this one. Iḿ handy man and I can do something. e.g. lay out leather cover or laminate Kevlar sheet over it. But if this works it will be shame for SQlab. They invest in nice girls during Eurobike shows instead of making durable products.
