Het blijft snel gaan in de wereld van de slaapmatten. Onlangs kwam Exped met de UL serie, met net ietsje meer gewicht dan de Neoair, maar ook een wat betere isolatie (R=3,5 ipv R=2,5). Dat was fijn, want de Neoair was toch voor velen wat koud in het voor en naseizoen en op grotere hoogte. Net een beetje meer warmte voor net een beetje meer gewicht vult een gat in de markt. Nu komt Thermarest weer met nieuws. Behalve de goedkope zwaardere en toch koudere Neoair Trekker is er ook een extra warme Neoair Allseasons op komst, met naar het schijnt een R=4,9 bij een gewicht van 540 gram in de maat Regular.
