Help wanted bicycle project repair

Hello,

My name is Robert and got this site from a Belgium guest who visited me on Warmshowers. I have a tandem bicycle of Libertas. I want to repair this one but I don't find any parts here in America or on the internet. I hope I find here some good tips.

I am looking for the crancks... Anyone know how to get it?

This is a seventies bike and in those days all the better bits went to the states courtesy of the strong dollar. US houses often have large basements to store discarded bicycles, unlike housing in Europe where space is at a premium and bikes got thrown away. If you do some research in classic bicycles you'll find most of the market is in the states
