Inspiring bicycle touring photos

In December we started a new category in our blog; Guest photographer.

The guest photographer’s picture is an inspirational image that visualizes what so great is about bicycle touring.

In December we showcased one of Peter Gostelow’s pictures and January a Tibet photo from Nathalie Pellegrinelli. In the coming months we have lined up some other international plus dutch photographers.

Thanks to Tom Allen who is February’s guest photographer.

On our “Bicycling around the world” blog we have also began placing bicycle touring photography tips.

Paul van Roekel is our guest photographer for the month of April. After seeing his spectacular Iceland photo from 2003 - Paul kept saying, “We have to go cycling in Iceland!

In March we showcased Kees Swart with his superb photo from Scandinavia.

Grace,

Thanks for bringing this under the attention again.
There are some amazing and inspiring pictures on the site!
If you like you might wanna send in pictures for the header of the 'new' site here. We can always use fresh pics.

Hans – thanks, I’ve really enjoyed posting photos from the guest photographers since I also find their pictures inspirational.

Of course I can’t send in the guest photographer’s pictures, but Paul says it’s o.k. to use some of his photos. I’ve posted a selection below (smaller versions of the banner) and if you or someone else could choose a couple out?

P.b. me the final selection plus the size that the photos need to be and I will send them to you.

Thanks. I've pointed Joris to this topic for the header pics. He'll deal with it from here.

Goed weekend!

You’re right, Holland is very atmospheric with upcoming mist. It’s a fantastic time for cycling and photograpy.

When I asked Sebastian for permission to place his photo – he replied that in the bio he wanted a link to his new website since he was planning on working on it in the coming months. In May we had to upload and program in all of our blog entries for the coming five months and since his website was still under construction , I wrote in the bio, “Sebastian’s website: http://www.sebastianwevers.com (it might still be under construction) “ I just found out that he has been busy leading group trips through Asia this last half year so hopefully this winter he will have some extra time to work on his site.

You can see more of Sebastian’s photos on his old website: http://www.old.osmosno.com/WELCOME.html
Hi Robertjan,

I haven’t yet heard from Joris. Could you pb me his e-mail address so that I can directly e-mail him over the header photos?

Groetjes,
Grace
