We have a love/hate relationship with Bolivia.
Loved pedaling across the Salars and the surreal landscape.
But absolutely hated pushing our bikes through all of the sandy tracks that Bolivia is so richly endowed with.

We were also there in July / August and since it’s a “dry cold” (like Eric Veenstra noted) the freezing temperatures aren’t a big problem as long as you have a good sleeping bag.
