Hoi Wereldfietsers!
Ik wil graag een "Bike Touring Workshop" in Den Haag organiseren (in het Engels). Het idee is dit:
-Vrijdag, 12 November, Den Haag (mijn huis, drankjes en hapjes inclusif), 19-22 uur
-gratis
-ongeveer 6-8 ervaren fietsers en 6-8 niet ervaren fietsers
-activiteiten en spelletjes, het doel is om informatie te delen
And now, In English!
My idea is this: a workshop where 6-8 experienced bike tourists, and 6-8 "newbies" come together for an evening. Through activities and discussions, we can share information and ideas on bike touring that will help people just starting out. Hopefully the experts will also learn something.
It will be FREE.
Above all, it will be fun to meet up, talk about trips and just get to know each other.
I have planned it for November 12th, because I thought it would be a nice "warm up" to the Wereldfietser fair in Dordrecht the following day. I will supply snacks and drinks.
This of course depends on if we have enough people. I am confident there are enough newbies who want to come, but what about experienced bike tourists? Who would be willing to come share for an evening?
I realise the details are a bit thin, but I am still planning exactly how this will go. More information in a few days!
